Captain Isaac Hull, USN

Autographed signed letter dated 4 June 1824. Requests Tudor's opinion on papers relative to the "blockade."

Frigate United States
4th June 1824

My Dear Sir

Have you had time
to examine the papers you spoke
of relative to blockades. If you
have and will give me your
opinion on this subject I will
thank you - Will you state
all the objections to the present
sistems that may occur to you
and why the present blockade
should not be respected. I fear
I shall have trouble before long
and I wish to be prepared -

When shall I see

you perhaps tomorrow - I will have
a boat on shore for you at
the usual hour.

Nixon will tell
you how we are and what
we are about. Prescot is
at Pisco but nothing has
yet been done - I am very
anxious to hear from that
quarter.

Very Truly
Yours
Isaac Hull
