Sir,
In pursuance of the order of the Navy Department, of the 25th March last, you will immediately report yourself to Lieut. Mr L Gordon for duty in the Navy Yard.

You will without delay (if you have not done so) acknowledge the receipt of your order from the Navy Department to the Secretary of the Navy to be forwarded by the commanding officer of this station.
