LS dated 28 November 1838. From L. B. Banister and John Blight requesting Asa Curtis accompany William Shuttleworth to Washington, DC, to support the passage of a bill through Congress.

Dear Sir
As W[illia]m Shuttleworth is
about to leave here for Washington
respecting our bill, we hope you will
accompany him on, and do all in your
power for us, and we shall ever feel
every gratitude obliged to you for
the interest you take in our welfare.
