Scope and Content Note

Colonel Earl Thomson was Chief of Flak Intelligence at the Joint Intelligence Center, Pacific Ocean Areas (JICPOA) at Pearl Harbor from 1944 to 1945. This collection contains materials relating to precision bombing practice. Specific data includes analysis of anti-aircraft flak, heavy weapons defense, and correspondence. Supplemental items are photos of target materials, a map overlay, and maps of Tokyo target areas.
