Scope and Content Note

This collection relates to Marjorie L. Blankenbaker's naval service as a WAVE during World War II. It includes printed documentation on the U.S. Naval Training School (WR) in Bronx, New York and other material on WAVES. There is also an undated photograph of WAVES in formation at the Washington Monument.
