Scope and Content Note

This collection contains correspondence and clippings relating to the naval service of Admiral James A. Prichard. Prichard served as the Executive Officer of USS Phoenix from 1944-1945, Commanding Officer of USS Oconto in 1945, and Commanding Officer of USS Washburn during the Korean Conflict.
