Scope and Content Note

This collection contains a series of interview transcriptions (1964-1965) relating to E.B. Potter's historical research. Included also are letters to Potter from Admiral Raymond Spruance relating to Spruance's wartime experiences in the Pacific. Limited correspondence (1968) is directed toward research efforts. The collection also contains a monograph, "The Command Personality," which provides insights to Admirals Ernest King, Chester Nimitz, William Halsey, and Spruance.
