Scope and Content Note

This collection contains a comprehensive duty file from Lieutenant Commander John H. Jorgenson's naval career, which began just prior to World War II. The file includes information on his duty stations, promotions, and activities until his retirement in 1963. Some material from his post-retirement duties is present as well. Other miscellaneous items relate to his duties, speeches and presentations, and some personal items collected during his career.
