Scope and Content Note

This collection contains material relating to Lieutenant George Radamaker's experiences during World War II from the Pearl Harbor attack through July 1945. The collection includes a personal log dating from 15 November 1943 through 10 July 1945, a compilation of his letters home, and historical materials relating to USS Vicksburg and its participation in the battle for Iwo Jima in February-March 1945.
