Scope and Content Note

This collection is arranged in two folders. In the first folder is a notebook dated 7 September 1944 that contains class notes from courses on navigation, seamanship, engineering, gunnery, administration and other related topics. This notebook is an excellent example of the type of instruction Navy officers received during World War II.

The second folder contains a set of British charts detailing North European Coastal Routes in the Helgoland Bight and Approaches.
