3884. HB-71 will leave U.S. on 24 July and regularly every 8 days thereafter. Speed of HB convoys has been reduced to 9 knots. It is intended that largest number of ships for French Atlantic ports will be placed in HB convoys and only small number in HN convoys.2 HN-77 and HN-78 will probably have no ships for French Atlantic ports. 13418. 3884.
