3401 Your 3448.1 It was proposed that all Allied shipping leaving French ports would be routed by French route officers who are kept supplied by Admiralty with all available information both in English and in French. It was not intended in any way to duplicate the work of these route officers by establishing additional U. S. route officers. Please state if you concur. If not definate recommendations requested. In any event you will be supplied printed copies of approach routes when available for issue.|2| 09305. 3401
