8008.   13325 and 21530.2 Bureau of Navigation appreciates complete cooperation of Destroyer Force in Bureau of Navigation policy of supplying officers for New destroyers as shown in your operation order numbers 1 Force: 192213 to Forces abroad and as reported to Bunav by Lieutenant Commander Davy.4 Bureau Navigation is sending 22 regular officers for the period of May 25th to July 1st and 30 regular officers in August and 14 regular officers in November. Regular Ensigns just graduated from Academy have been ordered temporary duty only to battleships and cruisers and are available for transfer to you in any number up to total of 135 and at such time as you desire. Request you answer this dispatch giving date destination and number in which you wish these regular Ensigns sent to you. 11201    8008
