8785 Your 12911 It is desired that all stores and services furnished Naval vessels and bases in Great Britain by dockyards and private concerns be paid for through British Admiralty and charged to Naval Emergency fund. What accounting procedure contemplated for locating expenditures to stations bases vessels titles and accounts. What stores accounting stores contemplated for provisions consumable supplies etcetera furnished bases and vessels operating under general supply system by dockyards and private concerns. If large sums are involved it is deemed necessary that expenditures show objects titles and accounts chargeable. In connection with this and with proposed metho<d>s of appropriation charge advise approximate amount of cost and contemplated expenditures under main headings. Practically no information here as to disbursements. 17418. 8785.
