One set of six miniature medals awarded to Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy (MCPON) Delbert Black. The rack of medals includes the Navy Good Conduct Medal with one silver and one bronze star, the American Defense Medal with one bronze star, the American Campaign Medal, the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with one silver and three bronze stars, the World War II Victory Medal, and the Navy Occupation Service Medal.

These medals are only a small sampling of the medals Black earned during his thirty-year career with the US Navy. His impressive record also includes being the first enlisted man to receive the Distinguished Service Medal.
