4205. In support of Prime Minister’s1 statement in House of Commons on August 7th that one hundred and fifty submarines have been destroyed, which was denied by the German Government, Admiralty have given to press full names, rank and fate of one hundred and fifty submarine captains together with numerous remarks concerning their records to be released September 6th.2 Statement considered too long to duplicate officially. 165505    4205
