4527. Request 200 enlisted men be sent Brest in connection with taking over Lake steamers.1 This with the 493 already reported at Brest and the 500 requested in my 43792 and the 200 requested in my 44843 totals 1393. Request considerable number of Petty Officers be included in these drafts. Request further details be sent only on my request as I am unable to furnish quarters for more men in this connection at present.        020711   4527
