The items regarding vessels are listed in the following order: name, gross and deadweight, date lost, date reported, cause, remarks.

     American steamer: BUENAVENTURA, cargo transport, 4888 blank September 15 September 23 torpedoed and sunk off French coast

     COOS BAY 3011 3500 September 10 September 20 foundered of[f] Cape Sanlucas.

     American sailing vessel: ETHEL ZANE 488 blank July 18 September 16 abandoned at sea

     GOVERNOR POWERS 1962 blank September 11 September 16 sunk in collision later report towed to port

     HERMAN F KIMBALL 125 blank September 6 September 16 ashore total wreck

     LOTTIE C MERCHANT 117 blank September 13 September 17 sunk after collision off Cape Elizabeth.
