VERY SECRET

7095.     URGENT. Your 5325.1 U. S. S. JASON should be routed in fast Halifax convoy and arrangements will be made to divert her together with any other ships bound for same port to special rendezvous where destroyer escort will join. Owing to difficulty of transporting seaplanes across England through tunnels it will probably be necessary to take ship to Killingholme via Scapa. Rest of cargo will be discharged at most convenient ports in vicinity. I assume battery of ship is about 4 four-inch guns. If vessel is delayed suggest she accompany mine planters route for which will be sent May 4.   7095.

Sims.
