1536. Owing to large number of destroyers now under repairs propose recommending to Department to retain U. S. S. PATTERSON until one of damaged vessels is returned to duty, after which PATTERSON will be sent to United States. Will present condition of boilers permit of this delay.1  15224. 1536.
