Total number German Escadrilles two hundred and seventy-three, distributed as follows: bombing twenty-three, protection thirty, scouting eighty, artillery observation one hundred, fighting forty; outside of these. Naval and Fortress units. Total number planes, two thousand five hundred, daily production about twenty-eight planes.”  18219-6751.
