     #1899 Your 18221 Convoys are to be escorted entirely by United States <cruisers> and to have American Commodore and signalmen period In order to be routed clear of other mercantile convoys the Navy Department has requested Admiralty to furnish routes in same manner as is now being done for all other mercantile convoys period suggestions for modifications or improvement should be submitted in the same way as for other mercantile convoys period Routes and rendezvous will be furnished direct to you so as to keep you informed of the position of all convoys period You should furnish the French authorities with all necessary information.  00419,
