Have discussed additional chasers your letter April first with Admiral Sims.2 He heartily endorses any plan to secure prompt additions to chaser fleet which does not impede deliveries on other orders and without criticizing other designs. I have just come through Mediterranean and can testify to great opportunity which exists for application such a plan. Signed addicks.3 20318 6699
