6926. My 4137.2 Recommend that two tugs for Azores be fitted for mine sweeping. Rear Admiral Dunn3 has requested mine sweepers owing to possibility of mines being laid near entrance Ponta del Gada. There is no specific information indicating any such enemt<y>  intention, but it is considered to be a wise prec<au>tion to furnish mine sweepers as soon as practicable.4
