6723. My 5077. Military representatives of Supremem War Council held meeting april eighth and came to following conclusions regarding Adriatic project.1

“One: For the present, no military forces should be diverted to this operation.

“Two: The study of the project should be continued with a view to its possible future execution, if circumstances permit. Sufficient data not being at hand to make a proper sutdy [i.e., study] of the question, the Allied Naval Council should obtain and furnish the Military Representatives complete data in order that, should the study show the project to be feasible, all plans may be preapred and the operation ready for execution”.

     These conclusions have been embodied in a note to the Supreme war Council. Allied Naval Council meets in Paris April Twenty-Sixth at which time this question will be again discussed.2 6723. 14319.
