221 Your 3346.1 Original request for men for USS J M <G>UFFEY requested men be sent for that vessel to Base 18.2 On account of change of Headquarters of Northern Bombing Group3 from location in France to location in Great Britain as previously reported by you Bureau has been sending all men for Northern Bombing Group via such transportation as is available to ports in the United Kingdom instead of ports in France as heretofore. This causes difficulties as a great deal more transportation is available for destinations in France than for destinations in United Kingdom Shall future drafts for Northern Bombing Group to be sent to France. Immediate reply requested. 16322 221
