It is possible that Sir Sric Geddes1 and one of the Sea Lords may come to Washington leaving in about three weeks partly to return my visit and Benson’s2 and partly to discuss future plans with you. Their visit would be very short. I think it would be nice if you would cable Geddes expressing hope he will come.
