9758. USS ALERT, USS FULTON, USS AL-5 USS AL-6 USSAL-7 USS AL-8 sailing for Base 131 bout 15 September. On or about 1 October and as towing convoy is available return USS E-1 USS K-1 USSK-2 and USS K-6 with all spare parts to United States. Destination USS E-1 is Base 222 and for the others is Philadelphia Pa., to receive new engines. Portuguese Government has authorized Station Ships for Horta. Do you wish Station USS TONOPAH there when relieved from submarines  11012. 9758
