2255 Following from Opnav QUOTE All possible steps being taken to assure sufficient number of thoroughly trained pilots to take over stations abroad at earliest possible date. In this connection information requested as to how many of Naval Aviators now abroad will be fully trained as first pilots in H-16s by August first and by September first. UNQUOTE. Twenty-eight pilots now attached to British seaplane stations will be qualified flying boat pilots by August first. This exclusive of pilots now training at Killingholme. 2255 22116.
