6192. Your 8178.1 We repeat Opnav 6192. Bureau will continue to make every effort to supply men as rapid<ly as> possible to replace men returned to United States for nucleus crews. Bureau approves nucleus crews you stated <as> larger as possible but request every effort be made to return as many machinists mates in upper ratings as possible. Serious shortage exists in all Petty Officer ratings but particularly in engineering force Petty Officers. 20120. 5252. <6192>
