144. My 128 and 131.1 Revel2 has replied to Minister Marine3 regarding the steamers for Northern Barrage. He declines to send them stating that owing to sending several transports to United States these 2 steamers will be required to transport troops Libia. Their place will be taken by BASI<LI>CATA and CAMPANIA as station ship and Corfu. The Naval Attache hears that Minister now states that he is powerless do more in this regard. 14001. 144.
