6952. Your 8814.2  Legislation now pending permitting our personnel to wear decorations our allies. Until such legislation is enacted our personnel cannot accept such decorations but you are authorized to accept same for such personnel and hold in your custody until action on legislation is completed. Not authoritatively given by War Department to accept such decorations.  o9407.    6952.
