Following has been received from Department Quote Commander Cruiser Force2 has been directed to instruct Commanding Officers of transports to anticipate dates of departure in order that no time may be lost in providing escort. As Senior Officer present in European Waters you are empowered to issue any necessary instructions to transports that may facilitate execution of their duty while they are in waters under your command Unquote Please submit from time to time any suggestions that you have. 23302.
