              6080 Information requested as to number sub-chaser in addition the 18 now reported at Bermuda Islands1 will be sent to European Waters and when their despatch from the United States may be expected. Will request contained in my 4311 be granted.2 Unless Sub-chasers are sent very soon for duty at air station, some of those now engaged in hunting submarines will have to be diverted for this duty as it is essential to have chasers at Air Station during winter months.
