1436.  Owing to fact that submarines tend to operate in maximum numbers during moonlight periods as well as to advantages that submarines enjoy in delivering attacks on moonlight nights, I have requested Department to arrange sailings of convoys to pass through most dangerous areas during day<light> during a period of about six days on each side of full moon.1 1436. <14325.>
