Following received by British Commander-in-Chief these waters1 from Admiralty QUOTE if United States can provide both ocean and danger <zone> escort[,] regular convoy at 16 day intervals are recommended running direct from Hampton Roads Va. to French Atlantic ports. They would alternate with the present east coast convoy from Hampton Roads VA. and would thus increase the opportunity for United States store ships and French ships and would also relieve the congestion at Hampton Roads Va. UNQUOTE Your comment and recommendation approval requested. 16030 4434.
