3102 Recommend that attention of U.S. Cruisers escorting mercantile convoys be invited to paragraph 46 of General Instructions Mercantile Convoys, 14 December 1917, which is as follows:- Quote in heavy weather the senior officer should consult the Commodore of the convoy or individual masters of other merchant ships concerning the best procedure to adopt as regards speed and so forth to safeguard the merchant ships in the convoy Unquote.1 07020,
