Vice Admiral Sims:

Opnav 2210. Your 2920,1 (BOX) In accord with your recommendation Department will detach Captain Leigh from Buseng2 and direct him to report to you for duty in charge of all chasers assigned for foreign service period. As such his temporary assignment to the anti-submarine division Admiralty as liasion [i.e., liaison] officer will be fitting period. Another officer will be assigned to the direct command of the first flotilla of seventy two chasers directed to fit out for distant service.3 16015.
