Scope and Content Note

The Strategic Bombing Survey studied the impact of air and surface bombardment on Germany and Japan. The Naval Analysis Division was primarily concerned with the influence of naval operations on Japan and prepared a number of individual studies that were published by the Survey. This collection consists of a complete set of studies published by USSBS. The working files of the Naval Analysis Section were transferred to the National Archives in 1990.
