Scope and Content Note

This is an artificial collection put together by historians working on the Vietnam history volume for the Naval Historical Center (predecessor to the Naval History and Heritage Command). The collection follows a command hierarchy similar to the Post 1946 Command File, but contains copies of documents from all sources relating to the Vietnam conflict.
