4096. For Admiral Benson. I hope you will have conference with Pershing3 as soon as possible in regard to sending over additional 14 inch guns and mounts and seven inch guns of Marine Corps. I feel very strongly that these guns should be manned by us and we are ready with specially trained personnel. Great dissatisfaction will exist throughout service if we are not accorded same cooperative privileges of service as British and French armies gave to their Naval Gunners signed Roosevelt. 01030 4096
