To  : Commander DESTROYER FORCE.

Subject: Training of destroyers.

     1.   In view of existing circumstances which render it probable that destroyers will be largely employed in the service of security of the FLEET, it is directed that the training of the DESTROYER FORCE be concentrated on exercises such as,

     (a) Offensive against submarines.

(b) Sweeping for anchored mines.

(c) Location and destruction of floating mines.
