2018.05 Donna Vaughn Collection

Collection of 12 photos related to aviation chief machinist Albert Vaughn, ranging from 1926 to 1950. Vaughn served 30 years in the Navy, with his last posting as Aviation Chief Machinist with Aircraft Service Squadron 14, Kodiak, Alaska. Images include Vaughn as a young sailor in 1926, in the 1940s as a recruiter in Emporia Kansas, and in the early 1950s at Naval Air Station Kodiak, Alaska. The collection also consists of aircraft imagery, including a Martin JRM Mars in both the air and in the water. There is some biographical information about Vaughn as well as some drawings of him.
