Description: Close up of bell section on this conserved brass trumpet was recovered from a WWII era Northampton-class heavy cruiser (CA-30).  Letters on the bell denote that C.G. Conn Ltd in Elkhart made it. In 1880, the company moved their operations to Elkhart, Indiana until 1970 when Conn sold the factory to another music company.
