<p>Brass trumpet with mother of pearl valve buttons from the USS Houston wreck site. &nbsp;It is damaged with various cracks, bends, and dents, The trumpet is mainly gold in color with a few places where a copper color shows through.</p>

Description: This conserved brass trumpet with mother of pearl valve buttons was recovered from a WWII era Northampton-class heavy cruiser (CA-30). Serial numbers “290190” are located on the 2nd valve providing information that this trumpet is a C.G. Conn trumpet that was made between 1933-1934.
