Shown are the launching of USS Sea Dog (SS-401) as well as her commissioning crew and a party celebrating the event. Launching photo is alternately labeled USS Segundo (SS-398), leading to some confusion on identification. Photos of sailors on deck of USS Pilotfish (SS-386) alongside USS Proteus (AS-19) at Yokusuka. Deck guns can be seen, as well as the boat’s dog mascot.
