Description: Photo album of images related to USS Mount Baker (AE-4) circa 1961-1963, from the collection of CPT. L.P. Pressler. The photographs include subject matter such as ship replenishing (Bon Homme Richard), logistical support of amphibious operation Lone Eagle (USS Paul Revere, USS Mount Baker & USS Valley Forge), underway replenishment of USS Kitty Hawk, USS Mansfield (DD-728), USS Firedrake (AE-14), and various destroyers (including use of a high-line), a visit from VADM Moorer during underway replenishment of USS Providence (CLG-6), various inspections and awards, and weapons demonstrations. Also included are several very good onboard "life at sea" photos of sailors - cleaning, ship's baseball team, and musical instruments (very good photos of sailors playing a calliope above deck)
