One green wool hexagonal-shaped patch. Edges of patch are basted together on reverse. Lettering and border of patch are embroidered in gold-colored metallic thread. Text on patch reads // International / Team 1921 //

In 1921, Commander Carl T. Osburn competed in the ISSF World Shooting Championship in Lyons, France. He placed second in the 300-meter Free Rifle Three Positions, and third in both 300-meter Free Rifle Kneeling and 300-meter Army Rifle Kneeling.
