USS Dealey
Caption: A model of destroyer escort Dealey on display at the National Museum of the U.S. Navy. Dealey was the lead ship of a class of destroyer escorts built in the 1950s. During that decade, both the United States and Great Britain worked to restore the diminished French navy as part of the Mutual Defense Assistance Program, and Dealey was the class of ship gifted to France by the U.S. Navy.
