MS2 Dan Faul volunteered for the recovery and relief efforts onboard USNS COMFORT (T-AH 20) in New York City. MS2 Faul's regular duty was at the Executive Dining Facility in the Pentagon. After witnessing up close the damage and destruction at the Pentagon, he wanted to serve where he felt it would make the most difference. Pictured here on 19 September 2001.
